Beaded Bracelet Favor
I’ve been working on some new ideas for do-it-yourself favors for showers and Sweet 16/Quinceaneras. Do-it-yourself favors are useful, economical, and fun! Here’s one of my favorites, and I hope you’ll share some of your ideas with us, too. This is a great, simple beading project that you can make ahead of time, or you can make it a fun party activity for your guests to create their own designs. I gathered supplies for this project from a local craft store. I used about 12″ of stretchy jewelry elastic per bracelet. The beads are a collection of faceted crystals and silver spacers. You could use your event theme color as a fun way to attach your personal history to the project. This bracelet was made with with a 7″ length of beads tied off with a square knot to form the perfect, stretchy-fit bracelet. So simple, yet so lovely!
For a make-ahead favor, you can create your bracelet and present them to your guests in an organza bag finished with a lovely ribbon. Mine is shown here decorated with our Sweet Sixteen ribbon. You can do the same for a bridal shower with personalized ribbon in the bride’s favorite color. Have fun with them!
