Have a very Hoppy Easter with these sweet treats! We filled a clear cellophane favor bag with chocolate Easter candies, then added a little cheer with a paper Easter Bunny cutout. His ears and feet wiggle! We gave him a shiny satin bowtie made from our Happy Easter ribbon in deep purple.

Give your guests a sweet, to-go treat with cake in a jar favors! Fill a small mason jar with layers of your favorite cake flavor and icing — the color options are limitless there! For a polished look, cover the jar’s metal lid with a stylish fabric. Add a personalized favor ribbon (we’ve used our Young Love Favor Ribbon for this favor – it’s a staff favorite thanks to its gorgeous typeface) to commemorate your event. A disposable spoon is a nice touch, and you can even dress up a humble plastic spoon with a little bit of creativity and stickers!

Want to hand out a sweet treat at on March 17th? Take a little inspiration from the colors of the Irish flag and decorate mini-carrot cakes in green!  These cute cakes from our local coffee shop are decorated with a paper St. Patrick’s Day pick and our Celebrate! Ribbon.

While there are several stories about the history of the Irish Claddagh ring, the common thread in all of these is the significance of the symbols used to create this iconic ring. The hands represent friendship, the heart love and the crown symbolizes loyalty. We used the motifs from the face of the Claddagh ring  to create this personalized ribbon reflecting the Irish lore. We’ve added the lovely, kelly green custom ribbon to a pewter ornament crafted of hearts in the style of a Celtic Knot. The gorgeous ornament was created by etsy seller K & S Pewter. Your guests will treasure this reminder of your Irish culture presented to them on your special day.

On the button!  These fun favors have taken a simple box to a new level with the addition of interesting buttons.  To create these decorative favor boxes, we selected buttons that added excitement or elegance to their presentation.  The boxes above were decorated with colorful funky buttons that we think added a fun flair to the favor.  We selected Italian favor boxes for these wedding favors.  The cube favor box on the left is topped with four fun buttons that we simply glued to the top of the box lid.  To customize the favor we put a band of our Regal Choice 3/8″ Continuous Printed Ribbon around the box’s edge.  The cone box on the right is decorated with a  single  butter yellow button atop our Sweethearts Favor Ribbon.

For an elegant styling, we took a golden approach to this Communion Favor Box.  We adhered a gold-tone button to this cube box top, off centering the button so that it appears to seal the box closed.  We tied our Two Line Continuous Print Communion ribbon around the box for the finishing touch.  This treatment made a plain favor box into a decorative addition to the event with a few simple steps.

These fishing-themed party favors are the perfect send-off for the fishing enthusiast in your life! We’ve used a delicious Vintage Confections Cherry & Vanilla lollipops to simulate a fishing bobber for these sweet party favors. To customize the favor we added our Regal Block personalized ribbons for favors. The favor bow was decorated with a cute trout fish button we found at our local fabric store. As a substitute, you could add a printed or stamped paper fish to your favor in place of the button.  We fashioned a safe (and completely fake) fishing hook out of jewelers’ wire for a finishing touch.  To keep the ribbon from sliding down the lollipop stick, you can either add a dab of glue or a band of cellophane tape just below the bow.

A well presented Pashmina shawl makes a thoughtful favor!  Their presentation can add decorative flair to your reception venue before the chill of the day sets in and provide a bit of warmth once the sun sets.  We love these simply elegant favors.  To make this favor, Pashminas shawls were selected in colors to complement the wedding theme colors.  The shawls can be found in bulk online, and party rental facilities also have them available as rental items.  We ordered ours online through Amazon.  They had a great selection of colors and the prices were very reasonable too.

For one presentation, we folded the Pashminas and rolled them up for easy arrangement on a tray.  The Pashminas were then tied and finished with a bow made with a length of our 4″ Wide Satin Ribbon – for extra large bows.  Since we decided to use these shawls as a reception decoration, we also added a hand-made paper flower, but you could also trim these with fresh or silk flowers or other embellishments.  We found large hammered aluminum trays that were perfect containers for the shawls.  They added lovely color in a convenient display.

If table space is a problem, you could also place the shawls over the back of your guests’ chairs.  We also added the decorative bow in this presentation.  This addition to your chairs is a great way to bring your theme color to any setting.  If your shawls are rentals, you may want to attach a note to the shawls instructing your guests to return them to a collection basket at the end of your event.  Be sure that the basket is conveniently situated near the exit your guests will use.

An alternate presentation for the taffy is to serve it up in a seashell.  We filled this shell with a pair of taffy pieces and trimmed it with a simple bow.  We glued the bow to the shell.  This  perfect for the beach favors are small enough to decorate nearly any reception table or dinner plate, and they’ll add a touch of color for a great theme setter.
